God is a just God and He always does things rightly. “Trusting that He will make all things right if I surrender to His Will.” God will make things right no matter if we surrender to Him or not. “And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:7) We Trust/God Restores God has already ordained your situations yesterday, today and tomorrow. So, embrace this world for what it is, and love through the roughest storms. When you experience this peace you can also know that your faith is growing because you are relying completely on God to take care of everything. This peace you feel goes hand in hand with your trust in God. Have you experienced this? This is the overwhelming presence of God’s almighty calm. There is no peace like the peace that passes all understanding. Indeed, the hardships are a pathway to peace. ![]() “Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace taking, as He did, this sinful world as it is, not as I would have it.” Nothing surprises God, which includes all of the hardships we face. A dad is so involved in what he is doing and planning ahead that he misses out on watching his son grow up. The song “The Cat’s in the Cradle” comes to mind. They make great morning prayer prompts or a good option for prayer requests at the end of the day.“Living one day at a time enjoying one moment at a time.” It is human nature to think ahead and plan, but what about right now? What about this very second in time? Cherish the present or you will miss out on life. As you pray and spend time in God’s Word, you can draw closer to God!įeel free to put these prayer prompts in your own words and add more detail to them as you pray through them. ![]() With your prayer requests, you can include praising God, confessing your sins to Him, a prayer of thanks for what He has done, and asking Him to take care of your needs. As long as you are praying sincerely from the heart, believing in our Heavenly Father, you are on the right track. There are examples throughout the Bible on how to pray, including the Lord’s Prayer in Matthew 6. Rather, it is a tool to add variety to what you are praying for. This list is not preventing you from being led by the Holy Spirit in prayer. If you are concerned that praying through a list is praying the “wrong way” and is not being led by the Holy Spirit, please put your mind at ease.
